Dues Information

How are dues determined?

NCACTE’s dues structure is based on enrollment as reported in the NC EPP Performance Report and follows the AACTE/ATE models. Enrollments are reassessed every two years. A copy of the fee structures is included on this website.

Existing EPP Institutional Members (Annual Renewal)

EPPs with current institutional memberships in good standing will receive an invoice by May 15 for dues for the next academic year. All payments are due by September 1 for the academic year. Invoices are sent electronically to emails on file provided by the EPP. The institutional representative list is open annually from May 15-July 15 (see additional information below).

Existing Individual Members (Annual Renewal)

Individuals with current memberships in good standing will receive an invoice by May 15 for dues for the next academic year. All payments are due by September 1 for the academic year. Invoices are sent electronically to emails on file with the EPP provided by the individual member.

New EPP Institutional Members or Renewing Lapsed Members

Institutions seeking first-time membership or renewing lapsed membership with NCACTE should contact the NCACTE Leadership Team via email at ncacte4teacherprep@gmail.com and request additional information. A non-refundable, one-time joining (or rejoining) fee of $200 is required for Institutional Membership. Once membership criteria has been established and approved by the NCACTE Executive Board, an invoice for the organization will be generated and sent electronically. Institutional Membership is only available for organizations actively enrolling students in the EPP; Associate Membership is available for organizations that wish to pursue membership in NCACTE but are not currently enrolling students as an EPP. The Leadership Team can provide additional information. All new member applications are subject to approval by the NCACTE Executive Board.

New Individual Members

Individuals seeking first-time membership with NCACTE should contact the NCACTE Leadership Team via email at ncacte4teacherprep@gmail.com and request additional information. Once membership criteria has been established and approved by the NCACTE Executive Board, an invoice for the individual will be generated and sent electronically. Individual Membership is available to any single person interested in NC educator preparation who is not a member via their institution. The Leadership Team can provide additional information. All new member applications are subject to approval by the NCACTE Executive Board.

Payment Procedures

Payment by credit card via Square is the only option for payment of NCACTE dues. A link to pay NCACTE dues will be included in the annual invoice email to the EPP. Please remit your institutional dues by September 1. Any EPPs that have not paid by September 1 will be considered delinquent and ineligible for STOY awards and other benefits of EPP membership.

Please note: only organizations or individuals receiving official invoices from NCACTE are considered approved by the NCACTE Executive Board/organization.

Selecting Institutional Representatives – complete by July 15 annually

It is very important that EPPs review their list of the institutional representatives annually. These institutional members cast vote on key issues. A link to the Institutional Representatives will be included in the annual invoice email to the EPP. Please allow ONE PERSON to update the document for your EPP.
